Broadcast Policy and Unsubscribing
Acceptable use policy
Section titled “Acceptable use policy”Owners and Admins are asked to review and acknowledge a policy before sending their first broadcast. Click What can I send? in the broadcast composer to review it anytime.
Permitted:
- Meeting notices and agendas
- Rule and policy reminders
- Maintenance alerts and community events
- Board and administrative communications
Not permitted:
- Commercial solicitation or third-party advertising
- Promotion of paid products or services
- Political campaigning or non-HOA fundraising
HOA Hub may suspend access or refuse to deliver messages that violate this policy.
Unsubscribing from broadcast emails
Section titled “Unsubscribing from broadcast emails”Every broadcast email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately stops future broadcast emails to that address — billing and other critical account notices are unaffected and will still be delivered.
Residents can also manage this themselves without using the unsubscribe link: go to Your Profile → Preferences → Notifications, and uncheck Email next to Announcements. (Yes, the label is “Announcements” — see the note below.)
Once unsubscribed, there’s currently no self-service way to resubscribe — a resident who wants back in should re-check Email under Announcements in their own Notification Preferences.
Where to go next
