Paying Your Assessments

Applies to:Owner, Resident

Your property’s billing is on the Billing tab of My Properties. If you’re linked to more than one property, choose one from the menu at the top of the page.

Click an invoice number on the Balance card to see its line items and payments. Assessments and fees lists the charges on your property, such as your regular assessment, with your payment plan for each. Activity lists everything billed and paid.

If your community takes online payments, each open invoice has a Pay button with its amount. Choose a saved payment method or add a new one, then confirm the payment. If your community passes on the processing cost, a Convenience Fee is added and you see the total before you pay.

A bank payment takes a few days to clear. Until it does, the invoice keeps its balance and shows Processing instead of a Pay button, so it can’t be paid twice.

No Pay button? Your community doesn’t take online payments yet. Open the invoice: if your community has added check-mailing details, they’re at the bottom. Otherwise, ask your board how to pay.

When a charge offers more than one installment option, Change plan appears next to it in Assessments and fees. Pick an option, check the box to agree to the new schedule, and click Confirm. The change applies to future invoices only. Invoices you already have stay as they are.

Autopay pays each invoice on its due date from the payment method you choose. Next to Autopay on the Balance card, click Turn on, choose a payment method, agree to the authorization, and click Turn on autopay. You get an email before each charge; your community sets how many days ahead, and the autopay panel shows the number.

To switch the payment method, click Manage. To stop autopay, click Manage, then Cancel autopay, and confirm. An invoice already scheduled for payment that day is still paid.

Click Add next to the payment method on the Balance card, or Manage once you have one, to add or remove cards and bank accounts. New methods are entered in a secure form provided by Stripe.

While autopay is on, you can’t remove your only payment method; add another one first. If you remove the method autopay uses, autopay turns off.

The Billing tab still shows the invoices and activity from the time you owned the property.
