Viewing Your Community's Finances
Applies to:All roles
If your board has published a budget or a financial report, you’ll see a Finances item in your navigation. It has two tabs: Budget and Financials. When the board has published reports but no budget, only Financials appears.
Budget tab
Section titled “Budget tab”Here you’ll find:
- A summary of income, expenses, and the net for the fiscal year, with the change from the previous year’s budget
- A message from the board, if they’ve included one
- Charts breaking down where income comes from and where expenses go
- A full account-by-account list with annual totals
Use the Operating and Reserve toggle to switch between funds; a fund with no published budget is greyed out. If more than one year has been published, a year selector lets you look back at previous ones. Click Print any time for a clean, printable version.
Financials tab
Section titled “Financials tab”This is where any published financial reports live — Balance Sheet, Income Statement, or Cash Flow Statement — grouped by the period they cover, each with the date it was published. Click any report to view it.
