Approving & Canceling Events

When a board member creates an event and submits it, the event is placed in Pending status. It won’t be visible to residents until an admin approves it.

To find events waiting for approval, go to the Events page and open the Status filter. Select Pending to see them. Pending events are only visible to users with event management access — residents won’t see them yet.

Open a pending event and click Approve. The event immediately becomes Active and visible to all community members. There’s no extra confirmation step — it goes live as soon as you click.

Any active or pending event can be canceled from its detail page. Click Cancel Event and you’ll see a warning explaining that confirmed guests will be notified immediately and the action can’t be undone. Confirm to proceed.
